Saffix hook-and-loop tape is a splash protector system for flanged connections. It is recommended for pipes conveying hazardous liquids such as acids, alkaline solutions or inflammable liquids. Saffix comes in the form of a hook-and-loop tape. On its soft inside layer, Saffix has tiny micro loops acting like a sponge. Should the gasket of a flanged connection leak, Saffix will cause the liquid to drip down instead of producing dangerous splashes.
